On April 10th local time, the three-day Dubai Entertainment Amusement & Leisure Exhibition came to a perfect close at the Dubai World Trade Center, UAE.
The exhibition covered a total area of 40,000 square meters, appealing to more than 300 exhibitors from over 40 countries and regions to showcase various entertainment facilities and products such as theme parks and arcade games. Flying was honored to be a part of the exhibitors once again, presenting our bowling equipment.
Flying bowling equipment uses an automated pin-lifting mode to restore and arrange the pins, which is renowned for its high efficiency, high stability, low energy consumption, and low noise levels. The time required to collect and set the pins is only 10.3 seconds, with precise control of the pin lift and drop position deviation of ≤8mm, and the ball return time is just 16 seconds. The stable and efficient performance can greatly increase the venue's customer capacity and improve the revenue of the venue.
Flying bowling offers a variety of models that can be selected based on the size of the venue and the target audience. These include Flying Classic Standard Bowling (FCSB), Flying Ultra Standard Bowling (FUSB), Flying Smart Duckpin Bowling (FSDB), and Flying Cute Mini Bowling (FCMB).
Flying Classic Standard Bowling (FCSB): In terms of professional competition specifications, most of what we commonly encounter in daily life is standard bowling, which is also our company's most popular and cost-effective product. It occupies a larger area, and the balls are larger and heavier, making it mostly used in professional bowling alleys, sports blocks and clubs.
Flying Ultra Standard Bowling (FUSB): It is an upgraded version of the Standard Bowling, with a more refined equipment structure, more solid materials, higher stability, and easier maintenance, although the price is relatively higher.
Flying Social Medium Bowling (FSMB): It uses smaller lane dimensions and smaller balls with only two finger holes. Its bowling ball is shorter and lighter than traditional bowling balls. Its length can be customized from 9.6 meters to 20 meters, which can better serve venues with limited space.
Flying Smart Duckpin Bowling (FSDB): It is a relatively new and popular piece of equipment in Western countries, with shorter lanes and is more adaptable to venues. Equipped with adorable duck pins, it greatly attracts customer interest and is often used in bars, restaurants, and homes.
Flying Cute Mini Bowling (FCMB): It has a small footprint, short length, and small ball size and is primarily aimed at children and teenagers, often used in children's play areas and family entertainment centers.
Many visitors, upon seeing our product display, have shown a strong interest in our products and have expressed their approval of our equipment. Moreover, numerous businesspeople who are planning to open bowling alleys or purchase bowling equipment have expressed their intention to cooperate.
This trip not only showcased our bowling products but also helped more international friends to recognize Chinese bowling brands. It served as an opportunity to make friends through bowling and find like-minded bowling enthusiasts and enabled more people to have a better bowling experience and fall in love with the sport of bowling.
We also thank all visitors for their recognition and support of Flying. We will continue to work hard to improve our existing bowling equipment and launch more new models to enrich the bowling equipment market and let the bowling industry flourish.

Price
How much does a bowling lane cost ?
The cost of a single bowling lane falls between $75,000 and $80,000 for a standard lane. Here's a breakdown considering different factors:
New vs. Used:
New lanes naturally cost more than used ones.
Features:
Automatic scoring systems or other customizations can increase the price.
Home vs. Commercial:
Lane installations for homes may cost slightly more to account for special adjustments.
It's important to note that this is just the lane itself. The total cost of building an entire bowling alley will include additional costs for installation, surrounding infrastructure, and any amenities you include.
Cost to setup a 8 lane bowling business?
This includes bowling lanes, bowling balls, pins, scoring systems, ball return systems, shoes, and other necessary equipment. Purchasing or leasing high-quality equipment is essential for a successful operation.
The total cost can vary greatly depending on factors such as location, size, quality, and additional amenities (such as a restaurant or arcade). On average, setting up an 8-lane bowling business can cost anywhere from several hundred thousand to over a million dollars. It's essential to conduct thorough research and create a detailed business plan to accurately estimate the specific costs of your venture.
Consulting with Flying Bowling experts can provide valuable insights into potential expenses.
Is it profitable to open a bowling alley?
Opening a bowling alley can be profitable, but there's no guarantee of success. It depends on several factors:
Market Demand: Is there a local interest in bowling? Consider the demographics of your area. Does it have a large enough population to support your business? Bowling alleys tend to do well in areas with disposable income for entertainment.
Competition: How many other bowling alleys are there nearby? What kind of experience do they offer? You'll need to find a way to stand out from the competition.
Concept: What kind of bowling experience are you creating? A traditional bowling alley with many lanes focuses on lane rentals. A boutique alley might have fewer lanes but offer high-end food and drinks. A family entertainment center might have mini bowling alongside other attractions.
Location: This is crucial. High-traffic areas with good visibility are ideal. Consider the cost of rent or property purchase in your chosen location.
Management: Running a successful bowling alley requires good business acumen. You'll need to manage staff, inventory, marketing, and maintenance costs effectively.
Here are some things that can improve profitability:
Diversified Revenue Streams: Don't rely solely on lane rentals. Offer food and drinks, host parties and events, or consider adding other entertainment options like arcade games.
Modern Amenities: Invest in comfortable seating, high-quality equipment, and a clean environment. Consider technological upgrades to scoring systems or interactive features.
Customer Service: Friendly and efficient staff can keep customers coming back. Offer specials and promotions to attract new customers and reward loyalty.
Overall, opening a bowling alley requires careful planning, research, and a solid business plan. While there can be good profits to be made, it's not a low-risk venture.
