In Amsterdam, the brand-new entertainment venue The Hangout introduces a bowling concept that breaks away from the ordinary. We had the opportunity to install 12 bowling lanes featuring interactive projections, which add a visually striking and engaging element to the experience. Not every center chooses this kind of setup, but when done right, the result is truly impressive.
A Setup That Wows From the First Throw
From day one, we knew this was not your typical installation. These lanes feature interactive projections, dynamic lighting effects, and a massive LED screen at the end, transforming every frame into a visual show. Bowling here isn’t just played—it’s experienced.
All 12 lanes were installed in one phase as part of the center’s grand opening, built from the ground up to offer a modern, energetic, and tech-forward vibe.

The length of the Mini Bowling Lane is about 13 meters. The fairway board area is about 7.6 meters. And the approach area is about 2.44 meters. The equipment maintenance area behind the lane requires a minimum of 1 meter.
